Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Akira Marketing LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use ThinkStrat (the "Service"). We aim to handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Where laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA) apply to us, we will provide the rights and protections required by those laws.
1. Who we are
Akira Marketing LLC is the controller of your personal information. You can contact us through the form at https://thinkstrat.ai/contact.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and authentication details when you sign up.
- Conversations and usage: the messages you send to ThinkStrat and the AI's responses, plus usage data such as message counts and timestamps.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing details (such as subscription status and the brand/last digits of your card) but do not store your full card number.
- Technical information: device, browser, IP address, and similar data, including information collected through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- store conversation history so you can review and continue prior conversations;
- generate AI responses and support continuity across your conversations;
- process your subscription and payments;
- respond to your inquiries and provide support;
- monitor, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Service, including through automated analysis; and
- comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we process personal information on the following bases: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service); your consent (where required, for example certain cookies); and compliance with legal obligations.
5. AI processing
Your conversations are processed by Anthropic through Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. Anthropic states that inputs and outputs submitted through its commercial services, including the Anthropic API, are not used to train its models by default. We do not permit Anthropic to use your conversations to train models unless we separately disclose this and obtain any required consent. We send only what is necessary to operate the Service.
6. Conversation history
We store your conversation history so that you can review prior conversations and continue using the Service over time. You can delete individual conversations directly within the Service, and you may contact us to request deletion of your account or other personal information. If you delete a conversation, we will delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, unless we need to retain certain information for legal, billing, tax, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.
7. Human review and automated analysis
We do not currently plan to have human reviewers routinely read your conversations for quality review or prompt improvement. However, we may use automated systems, including AI systems, to analyze conversations and usage patterns to help operate, secure, troubleshoot, personalize, and improve the Service. We may also access specific conversation data if necessary to respond to your support request, investigate abuse or security issues, comply with law, or enforce our Terms.
8. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, to remember your preferences, and to measure and improve the Service.
We may also use analytics and advertising technologies, such as Google Analytics, Meta advertising technologies (which may include the Meta Pixel and/or the Meta Conversion API), PostHog, Vercel Analytics, or similar tools, to understand how users find and use the Service, measure marketing performance, improve the Service, and, where applicable, deliver or measure advertising. These technologies may collect or receive information such as your device information, browser information, IP address, email address, pages viewed, events, and interactions with the Service, and may involve sending this information to advertising partners either through your browser or directly from our servers (for example, through a conversions API). Some advertising technologies may involve the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law, regardless of whether browser cookies or pixels are used. Where required, we will provide appropriate notice and choices, including the ability to opt out.
You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
9. Sub-processors
We use the following service providers to operate the Service:
- Anthropic — AI processing of conversations.
- Supabase — database and storage of account and conversation data.
- Stripe — payment processing (Merchant of Record, where applicable).
- Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure.
Analytics and advertising providers may include Google Analytics, Meta, PostHog, Vercel Analytics, and similar providers. The specific providers we use may change over time.
These providers process personal information on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
10. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may use advertising technologies that could be considered "sharing" under California privacy law. Where required, we provide the ability to opt out of such sharing. Apart from this, we share personal information only with the sub-processors listed above, when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).
11. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where required.
12. Data retention
We generally retain account information and conversation history while your account is active. You can delete individual conversations directly within the Service. If you delete a conversation or request deletion of your account, we will delete or de-identify the relevant personal information within a reasonable period, unless we need to retain certain information for legal, billing, tax, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.
13. Your rights
Depending on where you live and whether these laws apply to us, you may have the following rights:
- GDPR (EU/UK): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- CCPA/CPRA (California): the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. As described above, we do not sell your personal information for money, though some advertising technologies may involve "sharing" under California law; where required, we provide the ability to opt out. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the form at https://thinkstrat.ai/contact. We will verify your request as required by law.
14. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and is not directed to children or teenagers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, or under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not currently verify users' ages. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
15. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest and limited internal access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
